Triterpenes,
Flavonoids, and Phenolic compounds
Pharmacodynamics
Triterpenes has the following effects:
Bactericidal effect: Kills the bacteria, Salmonella typhi, the main cause of typhoid fever and persue it right into the gall bladder after 6 or more bottles as shown in the efficacy report by Centre for Scientific Research into Plants Medicine, Akwapim-Mampong.
Antiprotozoan effect: Kills instantly the Plasmodium malariae, the cause of malaria fever by 1 or 2 bottles depending on the severity and degree of the parasite in the blood indicated as ++. Generally 1 bottle is enough for malaria.
Antiviral effects: Reduces and controls viral effects.
Flavonoids: reduces pain, controls the activities of bacteria (bacteriostatic effect). Antipyretic: brings down high body temperature, fever and chills. Phenolic compound: improves appetite.

Indications: MALARIA AND TYPHOID FEVER.
Dosage and administration
For MALARIA:

Children 6-12years: two dessertspoonfuls (20mls) three times daily by mouth for three weeks.
NB: Number of bottles and duration depend on the severity and level of typhoid titre. Evidence based on experience has shown that even after taking 9 bottles in a rare case (1 in 1000) typhoid titre: SOH of 1:1/360 drops to 1:1/120 whiles SAH responds well just after 3bottles 1:1/20(negative).Such individuals need a total of 15bottles.
